Brewers 1, Braves 8
McClung : Destroyed
Brewers Bats: Silent
Tavarez: Still a head case
In todays embarrassing loss, the Brewers managed to muster up a measly six hits, scoring only once on a Russel Branyan home run. For some reason it feels like 2004 again. Seth McClung avoided early trouble in the first inning with a stellar double play by Branyan and Hardy. Everything came back to haunt McClung later in the game, he picked up six earned runs and also walked a cool six batters. I could write more but I'll just make a list of the embarrassing and ridiculous things that happened.
1. At this point, half of the team could not hit water if they fell out of a boat.
(Rick Astley and Vanilla Ice think the Brewers don't have enough hits)
2. Corey Hart's baserunning error.
3. Corey Hart deciding to step out of the batters box on Braun's chance for a stolen base, which resulted in Braun being called out for interference.
4. Tavarez cutting off a throw to home plate, which could have been close.
(Manny Ramirez once asked the Red Sox to get rid of him because he is a head case...go figure)
5. Ned Yost leaving McClung in so long, apparently six walks fail to rise a red flag.
Any pussy that thinks Ned Yost is a good manager because the team wins a series deserves to be fired from their job too. Rickie Weeks and Mike Cameron are batting .204 and .230. I could also add the fact that they BOTH struck out three times, but what's new right? Good choices for leading off.
Myself and Bryan will be in Milwaukee for the Astros series this weekend, so I will not be writing. I will most likely drink myself into a coma if I have to watch the same Brewers that I had to watch today.
